Aamulla heräiltiin reipas tunti ennen juna-asemalle lähtöä. Junalla mentäisiin lentokentälle, josta lähtisi lento takaisin koti-Suomeen. Meidän lento lähti 11:50 ja oli Suomessa perillä 13:50, joten ei tarvinut edes herätä kovin aikaisin, oli ihan kiva! 8 minuuttia ennen junan lähtöä tajusin kipeästi tarvitsevani Maxista mustikka-luxshaken, joten juoksin sinne ja nappasin sellaisen mukaan vielä ennen kuin menisimme Maxittomaan maahan. :D
We woke up about an hour before we had to leave for the train station. We'd take the train to the airport and fly back home to Finland. Our flight left at 11:50am and landed in Finland at 1:50pm so we got to sleep in, felt good. 8 mins before the train left, I felt a need to go and get a blueberry shake from Max so I ran there really quickly and grabbed myself a little piece of heaven before going back to the Max-less country.
Junamatka taittui nopeasti, kun oli langaton netti käytössä. Lentokentällä kyyläiltiin, josko Paramorea näkyisi. Ketään ei kuitenkaan näkynyt. Oltiin Satun kanssa melko poikki, oltiin oltu reissussa jo monta päivää. Mun kengät oli ihan kuivuneessa mudassa edellisen festaripäivän jäljiltä. Lentokentältä ostettiin hieman aamupalaa, kun ei oltu hotellilla juuri syöty lähdettyämme.
The train trip went by quickly, thanks to the WIFI. When we got to the airport we kept our eyes peeled for Paramore, I had a feeling they'd fly to Finland because even though Finland and Sweden are close to each other, there's an ocean between them and it'd take forever to go by a ferry. We got ourselves some breakfast and boarded the plane.
Saavuttiin Suomeen Helsinki-Vantaan lentokentälle. Kaverimme Jodien lento tulisi vasta kolmen aikoihin, joten jäätiin sitä odottelemaan. Jäätiin sitten katsomaan, että mitä lentoja Tukholmasta tulee Helsinkiin, koska huomasin Paramoren rumpalin tweettaavan, että he olivat lentokentällä! Jodie oli mennyt jo saapuvien lentojen puolelle, joten hän ei enää sinne ylös turvatarkastuksen toiselle puolelle päässyt, mutta me jäätiin Satun kanssa sinne ja käytiin meikkaamassa ja suoristamassa hiukset lentokentän vessassa. :D Reissun aikana oppi aika hyvin hyödyntämään yleisiä vessoja!
We arrived in Helsinki and waited for Jodie whose flight would get in around 3pm. Then we decided to stick around to see if Paramore was coming because we saw their drummer tweet that they were at an airport. We went to the bathroom and put on make up, straightened our hair and made ourselves look decent. It took a long time so by the time we were finished the next flight from Stockholm was about to land.
Tuijottelin ikkunasta ulos ja Satu jaloitteli siinä lähellä. Ei menny tuntiakaan, kun Satu tuli takaisin ja sanoi: "Lidia, ne tulee!" Sanoin siihen epäuskoisena, että eiväthän tule. Sitten mentiin kuitenkin katsomaan ja spottasin heti Jeremyn ja sitten Hayleyn. Katsoin Jeremyä epäuskoinen ilme naamallani ja se katsoi mua samanlaisella ilmeellä ja osoitti sormella :D Kun ne tuli lähemmäs, Jeremy heitti ylävitosen, Taylor huudahti että oli kiva nähdä, Justin sanoi hei ja Hayley sanoi hei kainosti. Satukin heitti ylävitosen Jeremyn kanssa. Halusin muka jotain sanoa siinä ennen kuin ne lipuivat karkuun, joten kysyin Hayleyltä oliko se nähnyt Jodieta :D "En ole...?" oli hymyilevä vastaus hah.
I was looking out the window and Satu was stretching her feet by walking around. Soon Satu came back to me and said: "Lidia they're here!" I said no in disbelief. Then we walked around the screen that has all the arrivals listed on it and I immediately spotted Jeremy walking towards us. Hayley was right next to him. I looked at Jeremy and made a weird face and he pointed at me making the same face. When he was closer to me he high-fived me and said hey. Taylor said it was nice seeing me and Justin said hey with an excited tone. Hayley said a coy hey. Satu and Jeremy also high-fived. I wanted to say something to someone before they walked away haha so I asked Hayley if she'd seen Jodie :D She said "no?" and smiled.
Mentiin sitten siinä yhtä matkaa ala kertaan, ei kuitenkaan puhuttu bändille, niillä oli ihan omat kuviot. Ne meni sitten vessaan ja minä sanoin Kimille hei, jonka jälkeen jatkettiin ulos sinne missä Jodie oli. Siellä hetken aikaa kikatettiin ja päätettiin jäädä odottamaan bändiä.
Then we walked downstairs, all together, but we didn't talk to the band, I was on the phone to Jodie. The band and their crew had their own things so we left and met Jodie outside the arrivals. We decided to stay and wait for the band to come out. There were no fans there, I was surprised.
Kun ne tuli ulos, tuli sieltä Jon ensimmäisenä. Juteltiin Jonille ja kysyttiin kuvaa sen kanssa. Jon sanoi: "Keskittykää Paramoreen, en mä oo tärkeä", johon vastasin, että: "Oletpas! It's Worth It I Promise on ihan paras biisi!", johon Jon sanoi ison kiitoksen. Sitten Jeremy tuli luoksemme ja kysyttiin kuvaa sen kanssa. Jeremy sanoi kyllä, mutta turvamies Mehdi tuli perässä ja sanoi ei ehdi, pahoitteli kyllä perään :D Jeremy mutristi suuta ja lähti sitten muiden perään, kohti bussia joka odotti ulkona.
When the band came out, Jon was the first one to greet us. Jodie talked to him and we asked for a photo. Jon said "no focus on Paramore I'm not important" but I said he is and told him his band's General Ghost's song, It's Worth It I Promise is the best song. He said "thank you so much", but we never took any pics. Right after Jon we saw Jeremy and asked him for a photo. He went "of course" but their security guy Mehdi said no, he apologized though and said they don't have the time haha. Jeremy frowned and followed the crew. They all were getting on their private bus.
Hayley pysähtyi meidän kohdalle ja sanoi Jodielle: "Ne löysi sut, ne etsi sua aiemmin" ja me vaan seisottiin siinä :D Sitten bändi meni omaan hienoon Ventoniemen tilausbussiin ja me käveltiin pysäkille odottaan bussia keskustaan :D
Hayley stopped to talk to Jodie and said "they found you! They were looking for you" and we just stood there looking like dorks. Then they got on the bus and we went to wait for our bus to central Helsinki.
Bussissa istuessamme Jodie katsoi ikkunasta ulos, samoihin aikoihin minä katsoin kkunasta ulos ja huomasin Paramoren crew:n jäsenen istuvan viereisessä bussissa. Sitten Jodie sanoi: "Onko tuo Paramore?!" ja olihan ne! Ajettiin niiden bussin vieressä vahingossa todella pitkään, nähtiinkin bändi siellä istumassa! Ei ole koskaan varmaan ollut yhtä jännittävä bussiajelu ;) Jossain vaiheessa kuitenkin kadotettiin se bussi ja hihiteltiin ja heti tweetattiin kuinka Paramore ajaa viereisessä bussissa.
When we were sitting on the bus, Jodie looked out the window, so did I, and we both noticed someone sitting on the bus next to us. It was one of Paramore's crew members! We drove alongside them for a long time and saw the band sitting on the bus as well. I don't think we've ever encountered a bus ride that exciting hahah. At some point we lost the bus and immediately tweeted about our experience.
Vähän ajan kuluttua lähempänä Helsingin keskustaa pölähti viereemme tuttu Ventoniemen bussi. Ei eka tiedetty oliko se sama bussi, koska ei nähty kuin sen takaosa, mutta bussimme ajettua sen viereen nähtiin Taylor istumassa ikkunassa. Alettiin taas hihkua ihan onnessamme, muut matkustajat luuli varmaan että oltiin pilvessä. Sitten Hakaniemessä kadotettiin bussi ja oltiinkin itse pian rautatieaseman bussipäätepysäkillä. Siitä matkamme jatkui hotellille, Omenahotelliin! Olisi taas kerrottavaa kavereille!
After a while, when we approached central Helsinki, we saw a familiar looking bus. When our bus drove by that bus, we noticed Taylor sitting by the window. We giggled and the other passengers probably thought we were high. We lost their bus at some point again and got to our final destination, the bus station. When we got off the bus we headed to our hotel, another Omenahotel. We had a cool story to tell our friends!
